What is my role as a Pastoral Assistant and the “mission” of the ministries?
Pope John Paul II is a great image for me within the Church. He always seemed to be interested in people and expressing his deep faith to them. I find this to be true here at St Charles Borromeo as well. There are those within our faith community who want to express and deepen their faith through contact of others. I am here to help foster this desire and expand the spiritual imagination of the community. You may view some of the ministries I over see by visiting the Community Life page as well as the Liturgy ministry pages.
What ministries do I oversee?
Bible Study, Liturgical Ministers, Marriage Preparation, Married Couples Ministry, Welcome Ministry, RCIA, Being Catholic formation, Men’s Ministry, Welcome Ministry, Charlies Place Coffee House
If you would like to participate in any of these ministries please contact me.

What is my role as the Pastoral Assistant of Service and Justice Ministries?
As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to see, hear, understand, and respond to injustices in our world. My primary role is to share that message.
In more concrete terms, my role is to work with lay leaders in the parish to provide opportunities for parishioners to reach out to the poor and the vulnerable and to advocate for justice.
What is the mission of the ministry?
The mission of this ministry is to foster an awareness of our Christian commitment to participate in the works of charity, justice, and peace within our parish community. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Sacramental life of the Church, and the experience of our faith community, we hope to fulfill our mission by empowering parishioners through education, formation, and programming to faithfully minister to our sisters and brothers in need.
How can someone become involved with the ministry I oversee?
There are many, many ways! The best advice I can give is to contact any of the leaders listed on our Service & Justice webpage. Of course, you could also always contact Laura Heil, the Pastoral Council Liason, or myself.
