This year's theme for our whole community catechesis program is Living the Beatitudes/Catholic Social Teaching. If you have not yet registered, please stop by the Religious Formation office ASAP! Our program will begin in October as we begin to look at the Beatitudes and learn about the cornerstone of our social teachings: the life and dignity of the human person. Adult Faith Formation Opportunities
Many of our adult faith formation program begin in late September/early October. Look for more information about all of the following opportunities at tables after Masses throughout the Fall:
- Bible Study - a weekly Scripture study offered various times during the week; contact Darrin Nelson at dnelson@borromeo.org.
- Being Catholic - a study designed by the U.S. Bishops to engage adult Catholics in their faith; contact Darrin Nelson at dnelson@borromeo.org.
- JustFaith - a study program of spiritual formation that leads to active involvement on behalf of justice and compassion; contact Ray Makwinski at loft6@comcast.net.
- Adult G.I.F.T.- each month, a guest speaker will address the G.I.F.T. theme of the month; contact Katie Onka at konka@borromeo.org.
Guatemala Solidarity Partnership
Our parish will send its first delegation to the Diocese of Santa Rosa, Guatemala in late September. Check the bulletin and parish website for more information as the date approaches!
Feed Thy Neighbor Annual Service Gathering - Saturday, October 2nd
All parishioners are invited to attend and learn more about the Feed Thy Neighbor Ministry, which includes our monthly food collection, as well as service at TASK, Elijah's Promise, Loaves & Fishes! This is a great chance to meet other parishioners involved in the ministries, share experiences, and become more deeply involved in our faith.
