Would you like to learn more about becoming Catholic?
Many of us have been Catholic since our birth. We were raised in a Catholic home and receive the sacraments of the Church. We have joined a parish wherever we lived, and have tried to live our faith each day.
And then there are others who have been raised in another religious tradition, or no formal religion, who are now seeking faith. Sometimes it is a person who married a Roman Catholic and periodically attends Mass with their spouse or family. Sometimes, it is a person who is looking for meaning in life, and finds him or herself wandering into the doors of the Catholic Church as a seeker.
For many years, St Charles has offered a process by which someone can ask questions, find out about the Church, and then if they are desiring, can become a Roman Catholic. This process is known as the Rite of Christian Initiation. Over the years, we have tried to create programs of inquiry and formation that suit the needs of those who seek to join the Church.
